  • back up with iCloud
  • back up with iTunes

How to back up using iCloud

Step 1 – turn on your wifi conection> Connect your device to the Wi-Fi network.

Step 2 – Click on Settings (name) > tap iCloud if you are using old versions, go to setting and scroll down and tap iCloud

Step 3 – Turn ON iCloud Backup.

Step 4 – Don’t disconnect your WI-FI network until the process complete. ”Date and time > your last backup” help to confirm your progress.  

How to back up using iTunes

Step 1 – Turn ON your Computer and connect your mobile device to your computer.

Step 2 – Open iTunes

Step 3 – If you ask your “passcode” or ” Trust This computer” You can agree with that.

Step 4  – Now you can see Your devices – Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod in iTunes.

Remember –

  • if you want your past activity and health data from an iOS device or apple watch, you have to select encrypt your backup. box encrypt backup and create a memorable password. if you don’t want it, you can go ahead is not encrypted. just one click back up now.
  • Don’t forget to write your password somewhere safe. because there’s no method to change or recover iTunes backup without your password. (passcode)
